İllüstrasyon

Resimleme veya illüstrasyon (İngilizce illustration), şekilden ziyade nesneye dikkat çeken bir çizim, resim, fotoğraf veya herhangi bir sanat eseridir. Amacı, sanattan ziyade, bir konuyu anlatmaya yardımcı olmaktır.

Antik mağara resimlerinden, günümüzde gazetelerde çizilen karikatürlere kadar farklı illüstrasyon örnekleri vardır. Grafik sanatların bir koludur.
