General Information

The term anime refers to the world of Japanese Animation recognizable for its artistic quality, complex plots and storylines, and what is frequently seen in Many series, the child-like face, Large eyes, and Giant sweat drops. The plots are not as predictable as other animated videos. The endings do not Always turn out happy.

Often the Artists and creators of various anime series incorporate parts of their culture into the storylines including the martial arts, Zen, and Shinto traditions. If characters aren't battling scary monsters in far off lands (Record of Lodoss War, Magic Knight Rayearth) then They can usually be found piloting large Mecha (Gundam, Zoids, The Vision of Escaflowne) or sometimes gaining magical Powers and becoming superheroes (Sailor Moon, Ronin Warriors).

Japanese animation is always full of action, comedy, drama, romance, and Science fiction.
